Lex orandi, lex credendi and the Via Media
The so-called via media has been lost since at least the 1990s in Canada, if not before.
The idea that the so-called law of prayer can be equated with the law of belief has no basis in either logic or Scripture.
Falsehood in liturgy, even beautifully dressed, is no excuse for sin. Prayers said in defiance of Scripture bring judgement along with weak churchmanship.
